As a little girl, Emma always had a passion for hair. The first gift she remembers receiving was a girls world head – remember those?

She found inspiration watching her mum having her hair done. She was in awe of seeing her transformation—not just in her style and new colour but also in her mood, posture, and confidence. She walked taller, her aura seemed to change, and her eyes had a bright spark. 

“I loved seeing this positive transformation, and this feeling inspired me to become a hairdresser and later salon owner, educator and director. As a young girl, I never dreamed that I would have my own salon, even more so that this year I would be celebrating its 25^th anniversary.”

Fast-forward over 30 years, and THB Academy has remained true to Emma’s vision. It has assisted hundreds of salon owners in gaining skills and confidence and ultimately increasing their bottom line.
